Dr Saxon ??? - sorry no PhD here I’m afraid. Just a logon I often use made up of my initials plus the name of my company which resulted in a lot of people calling me Doctor Saxon, a name that seems to have stuck.

Hi - if you’ve found this site then you probably know already that I’ve enjoyed the privilege of a monthly column, Under Development, in Computer Shopper magazine for over 20 years. The column is about my working life as a software designer and consultant - the most popular bits seem to be the tales concerning the mistakes, misconceptions and messes that my customers make. All events I write about are true ( I promise) but names, places and circumstances are changed to protect the guilty.
